The holidays are just around the corner. CBE would like to wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving and a Merry Christmas and thank you for all your support. The crosswalk that would connect the north and south sides of the Clifton Blvd. Extension is being addressed. We have met with an engineer from GPD Engineering Group who has worked on similar projects for NOACA. These ideas were presented to Lakewood City Council and the Mayor at the November 2017 City Council meeting. We hope this will be part of the 2018 budget.
The attached updated plans from GPD Group for the Rectangular Rapid Flash Beacon (RRFB) for our neighborhood will be presented to City Council in January.

The Grants we will be applying for are a process within themselves. We are fortunate to have board members and city council members to help with this effort.
We have contacted ODOT about continuing the bike paths over the bridge into Rocky River.
We are also looking into having an annual children’s bike clinic on safety in the spring. This program will be held at the Lakewood Library.
